Ralph Gohring, Consultant
Ralph has over 20 years of experience as Manager of Organization Development for the City of Austin, Texas. He partnered in the City’s establishment of its Managing for Results (MFR) performance budgeting process over 12 years ago, which continues to the present day. He has extensive external and internal experience consulting with executives, managers, and work groups at all levels on strategic, business, and operational planning. He developed and led teams of internal consultants and trainers. He developed strategies to help executives and managers implement planned change or respond to unanticipated change. He has coached executives and managers to improve team performance and solve problems. He has supported several of Weidner Inc.’s MFR implementations.
He currently teaches as an adjunct faculty member in the newly initiated Master of Arts in Organization Development program in the Business School at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. He teaches Organization Development, Principles and Practice and the Capstone class for this graduate program. Ralph earned his Ph.D. in Curriculum and Foundations from The Ohio State University.
